Our Visit with Grandma Kay
Last Wednesday Tim went to a seminar at UC Davis on seed biology. (He had a good time and learned a lot.) But it was an overnight trip and Mina and I didn't want to be home all alone so we packed up and when to visit my grandma in Visalia.
Mina had a blast! As soon as we got there my grandma took her to see the horses and then shower Mina with gifts. She got Mina a little tunnel and Mina wasted no time showing us how to use it. For dinner we went to Tahoe Joe's and met my Aunt Diane. Mina kept leaning over into the booth next to us and talking to other people. Luckily they didn't mind. For dessert we got a fudge ski cake which was huge and delicious. Mina probably ate the most out of everyone.
On Thursday we went to the Target my grandma used to work at and met some of her friend. Then she bought Mina half of the store. Just kidding. Mina got 3 cute tops, a pair of shorts, 2 my little ponies, a dora ball and bubbles. Mina also tried to get herself some new pjs by sneaking them into the cart but she got caught. We went to a nice park which is not directly behind Toys'R'Us like I was led to believe but eventually we made it there. All and all it was a really great trip and we can't wait to do it again.

Spring pics and baby bumps
Yesterday Mina and I took a nice little walk up to Sakata to meet Daddy before lunch but we also had so other plans. Sakata always has beautiful flowers so we decided to take our own spring pics instead of paying sears to do it. Mina wore the fancy dress her Grandma Kay sent her. We got a few good shots but she was too busy looking at flowers to smile for the camera.
So I'm now 12 weeks preggo. This is the last week of my first trimester. YAY!!!!
I'm excited. Our ultrasound is 4/21 and if baby cooperates we will find out the sex.

11 Weeks and gardening
Baby Clower is now1 1/2 to 2 1/2 inches long crown to rump and weighs 8 grams. He or she is the size of a large lime. Yay baby!
Mina was being very silly this morning. She was playing peek-a-boo with my towel.

BOO!
We've spent a lot of time in the garden lately and we have some plants to prove it! Not many of the seed we planted have germinated yet. The radishes, beets, onion, lettuce, spinach and broccoli are the only little sprouts we have seen so far. We are still waiting for the carrots, leeks, cilantro, oregano, bunching onion, celery, fava beans, peas, squash, cucumber, cantalope, corn and sunflowers to grow. But I only planted the sunflower house today so they might take a while.

Chilling at Nana and Papa's
Sunday we spent the day in Gilroy. Andrew was dressed up as a "robot" when we got there. Tim finished the water for the new garden bed and I helped a little. Uncle Lalo painted the back doors. Papa mowed. Theresa was busy tending to the berry bushes. Nana worked in the garden weeding and planting. While Mina and Andrew hung out with Uncle Bobby and Aunt Adraid.
While we were getting everything ready for dinner Mina found Auntie Theresa's boots. There are thigh highs on her. It was so funny to watch her shuffling around. I got a nice shot of her falling in them. After dinner Mina was so tired she fell asleep at the table waiting for Andrew to finish his dinner."Robot" Motorcross Andrew
Mina and the hot sauce
Mina discovered that hot sauce is spicy. We had some yummy burritos Saturday night. Tim and I were putting Tapatio on our burritos so Mina decided she needs some too. Tim put some on her burrito and she took a bite and chewed it. Then asked for juice. She chugged her drink so fast. But she kept wiping her tongue even after drinking all the juice. So then she got a yummy little bowl of vanilla ice cream and that fixed everything.Trying to wipe away the spicy
