It's a bird, it's a monkey. Nope, it's a Mina!

We went to go see Daddy at work again today. Another very long walk without a stroller. We decided to hoof it today because the bike didn't work out so well yesterday. I ended up carrying her half way this time but at last I didn't have to push a bike too. We had some extra time today so I decided to let her "climb" some trees. I think she maybe part monkey or bird. She was totally happy in the trees.

Ps- Baby Clower is supposedly the size of a medium green olive.

Yesterday Mina and I decided to take advantage of the nice weather and spend some time outside. We went to the little playground and went on the swings then our friends Nicholas and Kelly came out to play. And Mina had to show off how brave she was. She went from sitting on the steps of the playground to climbing all over it. Then she calmed down a little and let Nicholas push her in the swing. Then we walked to go meet Daddy when he got off work. Mina rode her little bike like 1/3 of the way there and but riding a bike impedes your ability to pick flowers, kick rocks and just make a 20 minute walk take way to long in general. So she ditched the bike and walked about 30 feet before insisting I carry her and push the bike the rest of the way.

After Daddy got off work we went to Nana and Papa's to meet Uncle Lalo and Aunt Adraid. They bought Mina a very pretty dress that is very easter-y. She put in on right away and wore it to our fancy turkey dinner.

The First Official Baby Bump Pic

My belly is starting to change shape. It's all round. My dream of having Angelina Jolie's abs is gone [at least for the next 8 months].

Mina likes the new baby

She likes the baby so much she even shares her pacifier! The other day I was in bed with Mina and she jumped on my tummy. I told her she had to be careful because there was a baby inside. She looked at my tummy for a minute then stuck her finger in my belly button and said baby. She kissed my tummy and tried to put a pacifier in my belly button. It was pretty darn funny. Today she lifted up my shirt while I was brushing my teeth to give baby a kiss. I guess she likes the baby a lot.

Mina's private concert just for you!

She's playing the harmonica that Auntie Theresa got her for Christmas. Thanks Auntie.

We walked to go see Daddy at work after lunch. Of course Daddy had the stroller in the back of the car so Mina had to walk all by herself. The walk normally takes me 20 minutes when she strapped in the stroller. It took us 1 hour and 10 minutes. She had to look at every rock, hug every tree and smell every flower on the way. We had an okay time but I was so tired afterwords. I spent like 40 minutes just standing there waiting for her to catch up. We looked at lots of different colors and shapes and apparently Mina is terrified of ladybugs. Who knew. I Tried to give her a big leaf and there was a ladybug on it, she freaked out and started screaming BUG! BUG! It was kinda funny.

OMG! She is so beautiful! I love her so much already. Mina and I drove up to Sacramento today so I could see the baby. Mina stayed with Grammy, Grandpa Sunny and Uncle Kyle while I went to the hospital. I had so much fun holding Alanni. She is like a tiny little bundle of sweetness. And she has got a set of lungs on her. Mina and I both had a good time but it was a really long drive.

Garden Girl

Mina loves the garden. Today she watched Daddy turn over the soil and mix in the compost. Very exciting. I can't wait for spring. She is going to have so much fun when there is actually something growing.
