Happy Birthday Caetlin Sofia Noel.

Today is the baby's birthday. I'm kinda sad. I know she is growing and all but it doesn't seem like it's been a year already. She still an itty-bitty little thing but ohmigosh is she a smarty pants. I guess all of her energy is going to grow her brain instead of her body. She loves to sing. She sings the Little Mermaid a lot, where Ariel is trading her voice to Ursula for legs. It's really cute. She also imitates words. She says Mama, Dada, Dac (dog), zizi (sissy), laygehn (blanket), da-du (thank you), egg, noze (nose) and her new favorite Uh-oh. She says a few others but they escape me at the moment.
She loves her sister and follows her around, trying to do whatever she does. She loves climbing stairs and collecting rocks, sticks and tanbark. She looks through picture books and points to things she likes or recognizes. She is just starting to feed herself with a spoon is very messy. She likes eggs, sausage, fruit, lunch meat, berries and pasta. Her favorite toys are my cell phone, camera, wallet, her Fancy Dog, Puppy Dog and Penguin stuffed animals. She has a green jersey blanket that is her special lovey. She adores animal especially dogs and cats. She also likes trees and points and waves at them while saying "tee." She is interested in the potty and has made pee-pee in it once but mostly just wants to sit for 3 seconds before getting down. She can climb up a short slide, although she rarely gets to because I think it's dangerous , Daddy thinks it's awesome, and will slide down all by herself. She is very mischievous and has a sense of humor.

I love her with all my heart and wish she would stay a tiny baby forever but it is really neat to watch her grow, learn and explore.

MTM - Somethings are kinda fishy here

I have to work tomorrow so the girls are having their MTM at Nana's house!

Berry applesauce, Snaquarium cookies from TJs, chocolate covered sunflower seeds, Babybel with a fruit leather square, cream cheese and strawberry fish-wich with more fruit leather squares, and goldfish crackers.

Is anyone else having one of those weeks?
I'm a mess. I'm crying and grumpy and tired and impatient. Ugh. Yep. that sound pretty much sums up my week.

I did manage to finish Caet's b-day present. A cute little quilt to go with her big girl bed. And I started on her party gift, a fleecie doll. I still have to finish the decorations for her party but it should only take me a couple of hours.

I'm soooooo excited! Can you tell? So last week I entered a Giveaway hosted by Stef of Girl. Inspired. and now I get this super cute dress pattern. It's the Adri dress from Oh, So Sassy.
I'm so excited.

Little Miss Bigstuff

Caetlin's birthday present arrived today.
We ordered her a bed. A big girl toddler bed. She is getting too good at climbing and I'm preventing a fall. She had no problem falling asleep in her bed at all. She looks so tiny and sweet in the bed. Now I need to finish her quilt.

MTM - Movies

We did a snack tin for a special movie night. And then we ate it all up before Daddy even got the movie on. We ended up watching Go Diego Go season 1 episode 1.
In out tin we had chocolate covered sunflower seeds and mini milk chocolate peanut butter cups, raspberries, dark chocolate peanut butter cups and popcorn.

Me version 2.0

I had an ah-ha! moment yesterday. I was just zoning out and I realized I don't hate myself as much as I used to. In fact I kinda even like myself, from the right angle in the right light.
I think it's because I'm a different person than I used to be. I didn't notice at first because the changes have been little by little but I definitely feel different. This is good I think. I hope.

This was one of those crazy busy & fun, long weekends that I wouldn't trade for the World

Friday night was family sushi night and a SIL's bday celebration. Saturday was the nephew's 5th bday & party. Sunday I worked and then met Daddy & the girls in the park for some rides and a sweet treat. Monday was Build-A-Bear Workshop and Petco. Plus I made a Labor Day dress for Mina in about 30 minutes Monday morning. And I only took a couple of pics of Build-A-Bear. Everything else was over before I even thought about pictures.Mina made a Sanrio My Melody named Ribbon Face & Caet has a little pup called Fancy Dog.
Baby-Boo ran away today at Build-A-Bear. We found her checking out all the clothes in the back.

Pumpkin Hats

It's Finished!

Caet's First Birthday Dress. I'm so psyched.

Now it's on to Halloween costumes. I cut out Mina's and started sewing the bodice.



And life would be great if my bedroom, living room and the girls' room didn't look like this.

Those are WATER pockets. Fun fun. So tomorrow they're going to come cut out our drywall.
