Happy Halloween!

I'm excited! Not as excited as I'd originally thought but still pretty darn excited. The girlies' costumes turned out pretty cute. Tim's was a disaster. And I will show you why later. I was told I don't look like the Queen of Hearts, which is completely understandable since I gave up at midnight. I just have a little gold crown and a red shrug. Lame I know but I at least made half and effort.

Rainy Days and Mondays make super sweet dresses

A while ago I was the lucky winner of giveaway hosted by Girl. Inspired. The fabulous prize - a pattern from Oh Sew Sassy. Now that the girls' Halloween costumes are finished I finally have time to make some sweet dresses! Just in time for fall since all of the summer clothes are heading to storage for the winter. The directions were simple and so easy to follow and I finished the dress in about 3 1/2 hours. I got the great fabric from The Ribbon Retreat on clearance. It is from Riley Blake's Rainy Days and Mondays collection. I have a different fabric pattern for Caeti's dress. Hopefully I can get the pieces traced and cut out today.

I sure do love my cute little dancer. I wish I could make her 100 dresses to dance in.

It's a sad fact.

I am not a good crafter. I really try and every now and again I end up with something pretty good. But most of the time I quit 3/4 of the way through. Why? Because crafting should be a simple A to B processes. But my crafting is an A to see this Mommy? See how I wrote my name on the wall? to Oh-no! I spilled juice on the floor to Jo-ann's to crazytown and usually ending up in F this! instead of B. Sigh.

Halloween Costumes

I finished the girls costumes! Hooray! Now I just need to finish mine and the hubby's. I need to finish my skirt, start my crown and figure out something for a top. The hubby's hat is almost finished then I'll just need to do all the details for his costume.

Ooo! It's almost Halloween!

I have almost finished the girls costumes. I need Mina to try on her dress so I can finsh the velcro and button and I need Joann's to get some more red lace trim for Caet's bloomers.
As soon as I finish their costumes I'll have time to work on mine and the hubby's.

This is Mina and the picture she drew of her baby brother. Named Cookie. He has hair, a belly button and a blanket.

Chillin' at the playground. It was 92 degrees and the slides were cheek burnin' hot.

My little monkey. She climbs on everything now. Today I caught her on the kitchen table. Twice.

Mina Ballerina (Pics Galore)

Mina's preschool is hiring on a dance teacher so they are offering free classes this week. Needless to say Mina was thrilled. However I think she was also nervous because she insisted that her Doll-Doll go into class with her. I forgot to take pics before of her all dressed up.

This is my fav. I'm bummed it is all blurry. I think I'll be adding a new digital camera to my Amazon Wish List this morning.

Disneyland here we come!

I have made the hotel reservations and there is no turning back. March 10-13 at Super 8 just 1 1/2 blocks from the main entrance of DISNEYLAND!
Our schedule is as follows but is subject to change.

Thursday- Drive to Anaheim, Check into hotel, find someplace to eat dinner
Friday- Go to Disneyland, be there when it opens, 230-430pm nap back at the room, 5pm wedding rehearsal, dinner, back to Disneyland to catch the fire works then bedtime
Saturday- visit, Wedding from 5-1030pm
Sunday- Character breakfast at Goofy's Kitchen, head home
