Walking the brown dogs

Today Nana and Papa got back from San Diego. Auntie Theresa made fajitas for dinner while Mina, Andrew, Tim and I took the brown dogs for a walk. The brown dogs needed to expend some of their extra energy in a less destructive way. [Nana's backyard has a bunch of new holes.] Mina was very "helpful" by holding the leashes. We stopped by Verna's to say hi after the walk and played on the playground, fed the fish and watched the doves. Verna has frogs in his pond now. Andrew wants to catch them.

Mina had such a good time running around outside while we were waiting for Daddy to come home from work. We went on a little walk around the apartments. We got the mail, went down the slide, played on the swing, smelled flowers, picked flowers and ran like a crazy on the grass. It was fun for both of us especially since I haven't had the energy to do much of anything lately. She was glad to get out of the house.
Then we topped of the day by going out to Chili's for dinner with our friend Stephanie. The food was yummy and we did some good deeds by getting balloons for some boys and giving a family a coupon for a free molten chocolate lava cake because we had an extra. Yay us!
Oh and our cake was delish and Mina wasted no time helping us eat eat. I wish I had gotten a picture of her chocolatey face.

Today Mina decided to wear my shoes. It was so funny watching her shuffle around in them. She was concentrating very hard so she wouldn't trip and fall.

Tonight Uncle Bob taught Mina and Andrew to dance since Mina looked ready for a ball. It was so funny. Andrew even made his own music.

Mina decided she was going to be fancy today and insisted on wearing her fluffy Christmas dress that Grammy got her.

Saturday Jan. 24th.
Mina and I drove up to Sacramento for my bestest friend Alyssa's baby shower. Mina stayed with her Grammy and Grandpa Sunny while I went to the shower. It was a lot of fun. Alyssa looked so cute and Alanni is getting really big and is almost ready to be born. Alanni got lots of really cute clothes and blankets. I'm really glad I got to go.

I also got to play pool with her sisters Crystal, Bridgette and Kimmy. Everyone but Crystal is pretty bad but we had lots of fun. In fact I think it was extra fun because we sucked.

After the baby shower we went to see the family I used to babysit for, the Kerns. Jake and Amanda are so grown up now. It makes me kinda sad. Mina posed for only a few pictures before she broke the flash on our camera. Thank goodness we have the extended warranty. Now I just have to make it to Best Buy.

So Mina was being super weird at dinner. She would take a bite of tamale & then use her fork to scratch her armpit. I guess tamale tastes better with pit juice.

So our camera was missing for a few days [Nana's sofa ate it.] so here are some pics from the 10th of Mina and Andrew enjoying their yummy ice cream. [But just for the record Theresa's homemade ice cream is way yummier.]

GRRR!!!

Yay! My computer is working again. We didn't have an anti virus program for a while so the computer was all infected and slow. So this morning I spent 2 hours finding and deleting all of the viruses and spyware. Super fun. But now everything is running great so I guess it was worth it.

Anyways, I might only end up with one kid because I'm going to strangle Mina. [Okay I probably won't really strangle her but I'm definitely going to spank her butt.] She totally does not listen to me at all. She won't even look at me when I talk! So, yeah, I'm kinda frustrated right now.

So I finally got thing straightened out with Kaiser and my appointment in Feb. 11.

Yep. I'm preggo.

So I'm in the process of scheduling an appointment but Kaiser blows so it is taking a loooong time. Yesterday I talked to 5 different people and now I have to wait 5 days for them to send me a password by mail for my online account so that I can schedule my own appointment. I think I'll try calling back again today. Maybe I can actually get some help since it's not a "holiday."
