Lunch may have been blue but it put a smile on my girl's face

I have participate for a few weeks and boy did I miss it.

Pomegranate Blueberry V8, blueberry cereal bar, dino cookie w/ blue M&Ms
Mashed blue potatoes, Blueberry muffin Mini Wheats, blue and purple goldfish crackers.
And as we are telling Daddy what's in the tin he says, "Don't we have some of those blue corn chips left?" Genius!
Very happy with her blue lunch.

Monster child aka the very selective listener

She feed the fish this morning. An entire jar of food. We have one fish. I had to change the water twice. And I should do it again but I have a feeling the fish is going to die now. Unlike me the fish will eat until he literally explodes. I stop just before I pop.
Story number two. As she is sitting on time out, she gets a bottle of sand and pours it out under the crib. In, on and around a pair of itty bitty baby shoes.
What am I going to do with this kid? Seriously, I'm out of patience and ideas.

Getting stuff done. Sort of.

I folded some laundry, watered some baby plants and picked up a crap load of toys. Now it's ME TIME! I got a sewing machine the other day and I am super psyched to use it. And I know exactly what my first project will be. I was inspired by Michelle from Muffin Tin Mom. She posted about her Laundry Intervention. I too have problems with the washer and/or dryer eating socks. So I went to the dollar store and got a mesh laundry bag. Problem is that the only size they had 24"x 36". I don't plan on washing everyone in town socks so I'm going to cutt that baby down and get 2 bags. So now I'll have an extra bag for the times when I just don't feel like folding a mountain of laundry and digging the first out from the bottom middle of the pile. (Cause that's where whatever you need always is.) I will post pics as soon as I'm done.

M-m-m-muffin Tin Monday

Thank goodness there's no theme today. I forgot what day it was until I was half way through preparing lunch. & by preparing I mean digging through the fridge looking for leftovers.

Today's leftovers include 1/2 a mini bagel with pb, raisins & crasins, dark chocolate malt balls, 2 tomatoes (one was consumed as I was putting everything together), carrot sticks, meatball soup and sugar snap peas.

Thanks for all the comments last week. Sorry I didn't get around to comment on everyone's pages but I did look at them all. Mina always wants to know what other kids are eating. =]
