Hello I'm the world's worst updater. I've been meaning to update the blog for over a week. But this is really the first time I've had the time and energy. I can FB with one hand but even that is a chore.
Okay, so we've had an interesting few weeks with trips to the ER, projects galore, and trying (keyword here) to get the house clean. Lately I feel like my head is going to explode from all the craziness. So, first things first, Thank you everyone for all of the wonderful Christmas gifts. Mina is enjoying the heck out of all the new toys and clothes. Grovers, she loves her doctor set and plays with it at least twice everyday. Theresa, Mina loves her denim skirt with the pink butterfly embroidered belt. She likes to dance in it. Thank you Auntie Cynthia for the sparkly pink Tinkerbell shoes she love to wear them and she loves her Tinkerbell book too.
Grandma, you got the girls entirely too much stuff and they love it all. Mina especially likes her new movies and giant Tinkerbell pillow. Dad Mina loves her dress up clothes and wears all of them everyday. =] Nana thanks for the super cute jammies they keep Mina cuddly warm at night. And Mom thank you thank you thank you for the new toy box we really needed it.
So now about our oh so fun New Years Eve day. We spent an hour and a half in the ER getting Mina's poor little finger stitched up. I was sitting on the kitchen floor making room in the cabinet for my new food processor when Mina stuck her hand down the chute and sliced her middle finger on the left hand open on the cheese slicer attachment. She did really well at the hospital but didn't like being strapped down. Go figure. She's doing fine now and her finger is almost healed.
We really enjoyed having Tim home with us and I was totally bummed when he had to go back to work. We are slowly settling back into our normal routine but I miss having him around during the day. Life was a lot more relaxed.
Anyways, Caeti just woke up so I'll have to finish updating later.
Whew! Days are mighty full with two little ones! That picture of Mina and Catelin is so very blog-worthy. I love it.
