I must be crazy

Today was fabulously tiring. And here I am at 11pm blogging instead of sleeping. I worked 4 hours this morning while the girls hung out with Nana. After work I took the girls to the Monterey Bay Aquarium to check out the Outer Bay once more before some of the exhibits are closed to make way for The Open Ocean. We had an awesome time but boy were they a handful. Mina wanted to see EVERYTHING! And Caeti wanted to watch each exhibit FOREVER.
After the aquarium we headed home where I started dinner (tacos) cleaned the living room and did 2 loads of laundry in my hour of "free time" before pick Daddy up from work.
Yep definitely crazy.
Caet was excited. Mina was whining the clam was eating her.
Isn't this the cutest thing you've ever seen? I was dying watching her run around. I got a cute video too.
Mina choose a seahorse poncho but she wasn't to happy wearing it. She did have a great time hanging up all of the little costumes, what a sweetie.

wine. Yep. It makes you feels so good and cuddly. I almost forgot how happy it makes me.

I've been at work for an hour. It feels like I've been here for 3 hours. It stinks that the only I have to do is shred 8000 tickets. Really now.
And I just realized Caeti gets the pinkie thing from me.

Life's a beach

Since Tim had the day off we decided to take the girls on a super fun family day. We started out at the Monterey Bay Aquarium. We only hit half of the aquarium so the girls wouldn't be too tired later on. We hit the Outer Bay, the Secret Lives of Seahorses and the Hot Pink Flamingos.

After the aquarium we had to stop at a candy stop to use the bathroom and the girls gave the giant bear some love.

After the aquarium we headed down to Carmel by-the-sea to spend some time on the beach. I packed some bento lunches and we found some driftwood "benches" to enjoy them on.(This is one of the hubby's dream homes)

After the beach we were planning on going to our cousin's 4th b-day party so we headed to Tim's parents' house to rinse off the sand, salt and sweat. But unfortunately we did not end up at the party. Instead this happened.
That is a bite mark from Mina because she didn't want to wear floaties in the pool. So home we came and now the girls' are supposed to sleeping. But they aren't. And I don't care. Mama is off duty until tomorrow. So is Daddy. So unless there is some sort of emergency they better just stay in bed. Yep. I have a busted lip (compliments of a Mina headbutt because she didn't want to go to bed) and bruised bite mark and no patience. What a wonderful family day.

However, Caeti was pretty cute while I was making dinner. & my Sand*Wishes Lunch Punch arrived today so it wasn't a complete bust.

3. Having more food on my carpet than in my fridge

5. Not having energy
6. Babies in my bed

Okay so it's really only 6 things but you get the idea of how much I hate not having energy.
I've been craving a run for the past 2 days, it's been like 3 months since I've gone. I need to get back in the habit cause my awesome SIL, Cynthia, will be here soon and she is Miss Marathoner. I'd like to be able to run with her. (& all my SILs are awesome. Don't cry Elena or Theresa)

Dino MTM

This weeks MTM was inspired by the dino chicken nuggets.

We've got orange cauliflower trees, a provolone dino footprint, a dino tar pit
a dino orange slice and dino chicken nuggets.
She ate everything but the cauliflower. I did get her to "taste" it aka she licked it and made a face.

Projects out the wazoo

I need to finish some projects.

I am a notorious project starter. Not a finisher. So I am going to finish 3 pairs of jammies today. Because they are all gifts and I HAVE to do it.
So L, E & lil L will get their gifts soon. Well lil L will have to wait a few extra days because I also have to start and finish her dolly.
I am also working on some elephant stuffies. But those are total back burner. They are gifts too but just because I love you gifts so I pretty much have forever.

This is the fabric for the elephants.

I can't wait to start on these. I'm making some super kawaii little dolls!
